Google Scholar proposes results only from academic sources. You may find academic articles, ebooks or also theses and reports.
What other functions?
1- All the articles are linked one to another with the « Cited x times » function.You may bounce on the articles citing the chosen article and then find other close articles about the same topic.
2- Cite function to retrieve bibliographic reference and build bibliography.
